Is this you?
What the storm left behind, and what it means.

Shingles lifted or missing after wind
Wind catches a shingle’s edge and breaks its seal, so it lifts, creases, or tears off. A lifted shingle that’s still in place can leak just like a missing one.

Hail marks you can’t see from the yard
Hail knocks the granules off and bruises the shingle underneath, often without a leak right away. The damage shows up years early as bare, worn spots, so it’s worth a look after a hail storm.

A leak, or a limb on the roof
Water coming in after a storm, or a branch through the roof, needs covering now. We tarp or temporarily seal the opening first, then inspect and write the permanent repair.
A newer roof that took a hit? One wind or hail event can hurt a young roof. If yours is only a few years old and a storm went through, it’s worth a free look before a small problem soaks the deck.
Right now
Water coming in? Do this first.
- Contain the water. Put a bucket underneath, and move furniture and electronics out of the way.
- Check the ceiling. If it’s bulging with water, put a bucket under it and poke a small hole at the lowest point so it drains in a controlled way. A ceiling holding water can come down all at once.
- Stay off the roof, especially in bad weather.
- Take photos of everything, for your records and any insurance claim.
- Call us. Active leaks move to the front of our schedule.

What we do
From the first call to a sound roof, step by step.
Protect the house first
If the roof is open, we cover or temporarily seal it to stop water getting in.
Read moreShow less about protecting the house
That comes before any inspection or estimate, because every hour of rain makes the damage inside bigger.
Inspect the whole roof
We check every slope, not just the spot that’s leaking.

Wind and hail rarely hit one place. We look at the shingles, flashing, vents, and gutters, and the attic underneath where we can reach it.
Photograph every bit of damage
You get photos of everything we find.

They’re yours to keep, and to share with your insurance company if you file a claim. What your policy covers is between you and your insurer. We’re not public adjusters, and we don’t negotiate claims.
Repair or replace, in writing
If the damage is in one area and the rest of the roof is sound, you get an exact repair price.
Read moreShow less about repair or replacement
If it runs across the roof, or the roof was near the end of its life anyway, you get an exact replacement price and the reason, with the photos behind it. See how we replace a roof.
Fixed properly, not patched over
We replace what the storm damaged instead of patching over it.

Shingles, flashing, and vents are matched to your roof as closely as the product allows, and the repair is listed on your scope line by line.
Options
Three outcomes. One honest answer.
What we recommend depends on what the storm did to your roof, and you’ll see the photos behind it. Most storm calls end in one of these three.

Insurance
What we do with insurance, and what we don’t.
We’re a retail roofing company, not a storm-restoration outfit. We document the damage thoroughly, and you get the photos and our written estimate to give your adjuster. We’re not public adjusters, so we don’t negotiate claims or deal with your insurer on your behalf. What your policy covers is between you and your insurance company.
Be wary of any contractor who offers to “handle your insurance” or promises a bigger settlement.

How it works
How a job runs. No surprises, start to finish.
Five steps, each one in writing, so you always know what happens next and what you’ll have in hand.
The process From the first visit to the warranty papers
01
We inspect and measure.
On a roof we check the shingles, the flashing, the gutters and trim, and the layers at an edge, and we go into the attic every time. On siding we check the substrate, the grade clearance, and the windows.
02
You get an exact price, in writing.
Before we leave, itemized line by line. Hand it to another contractor: if they can’t match the lines, the totals aren’t the same job.
03
We protect the property first.
Plants, drives, and beds are covered before the first bundle comes off the truck.
04
Tear-off and dry-in happen the same day.
You see photos of the deck. Soft plywood is priced before we cover it. An open deck overnight is how a replacement becomes an interior claim.
05
We walk the job and register your warranty.
You get the photos and the paperwork, and on a roof we register your GAF warranty for you. Not a verbal promise from the driveway.

Reviews
What homeowners say, in their own words.
Cost & financing
What a roof costs, and how to pay for it.
A national average isn’t your house. Your price depends on the size and pitch of the roof, its valleys, dormers, chimneys, and skylights, how many layers come off, the decking underneath, and the shingle you choose. That’s why you get an exact number in writing before we leave, with every line on the page.
Roof cost range finder
What should a new roof cost around here?
Not a quote: a planning range from typical installed prices for a simple roof in Southeastern PA and northern Delaware. Valleys, dormers, chimneys, soft decking, and extra layers move the number, so we still come out and measure.
Planning range
Includes tear-off of one layer and haul-away. Does not include deck replacement we can only see once the old roof is off.

Financing
The applicable lender determines the terms associated with any financing offer available through the Finturf platform. Right & Precise provides access to the financing platform, but we don’t set lender rates, repayment terms, or approval decisions. Reviewing the lender’s information will help you understand the details connected with an available financing option.
Warranty
Covered three ways, all in writing.
GAF Silver Pledge™: backed by GAF.
The materials are covered for 50 years non-prorated, including labor, tear-off, and disposal. GAF also covers installation errors for 10 years, and backs the repair if a contractor can’t make it.
Our workmanship guarantee: on top of GAF’s.
Lasts 20 years, on top of GAF’s coverage. If something we did isn’t right, we come back and fix it, with no argument about whether it’s technically a covered defect.
Our satisfaction guarantee: how we treat your home.
Materials and labor are only part of the job. How we treat your home, your yard, your neighbors, and your time is the rest of it, and we guarantee that too.

How do I know if I have storm damage?
It’s often invisible from the ground. Look for shingles creased or lifted along a line, missing shingles, granules gone in one area, and dents in gutters, downspouts, siding, or metal vents. If a storm went through your neighborhood, get it checked. Damage left alone doesn’t stay small.
What should I do right after I notice damage?
Stay off the roof. Contain any water, take photos, and call us so we can cover the opening. The steps are above.
Does storm damage mean I need a new roof?
Not always. If the damage is in one area and the rest of the roof is sound, a repair is the right answer. Damage across several slopes, or a roof that was already near the end of its life, points to replacement, and we’ll show you the photos either way.
Will my homeowners insurance pay for it?
That depends on your policy, the cause of the damage, and your deductible, so check with your insurance company. We’ll give you photos of the damage and a written estimate, which you can share with them if you file a claim. We’re not public adjusters, and we don’t negotiate claims.
Can you help me file a claim?
We’ll document the damage and give you the photos and a written estimate for your adjuster. We aren’t public adjusters, so we don’t negotiate claims or act for you with your insurer.
How fast can you come if water is coming in?
Active leaks move to the front of our schedule. Call us, and we’ll cover or temporarily seal the roof as fast as we can, then inspect and write the permanent repair.
